More Entitlements – Fewer Taxpayers
When President Obama’s economic stimulus packages are implemented, 57% of Americans will be off the tax roles, while only 43% will be paying all of the taxes. Essentially, the 57% will be receiving a check back from the government, while the 43% will be funding entitlements for the rest of the country. Taxpayers are clearly outnumbered. My fear is that we cannot return to a godly government because over half of the country (including corpoarations) are already dependent upon this one. When too many become dependent upon a government funded by too few, the system will collapse.
